Funny conversation I just listened in on:
T examining his new toy spider - "Why is dis filled wif little balls?"
CM - "Maybe it's a boy spider."
T - "Daaaaad, all spiders are boy spiders."
Back to my post.
We took the kiddo's to get pumpkins the other night... and I forgot my camera.
Sorry for the crappy ipod pics.
And the bad exposure. But we got our pumpkins and everyone had fun.

I am already amending my recently written "Blog Schedule."
I had Thursdays down as "Quote of the Week," but I have decided that since this is primarily
a crafty blog I should have 3 days of crafts and projects.
So Thursday will be "Easy Crafts" which I'm really excited about.
I love an excuse to crank out a 15 minute craft.

I went shopping with my neighbor Jami one fine morning.
She likes the same things I do so we hit a few thrift shops and found some awesome things.
We found some baskets, some picture frames, some vintage pyrex, a cool table cloth
and some other fun things.
She convinced me to buy this vintage cooky book and it it so much fun.
Can I tell you how my kids eyes lit up when they saw a whole book of cookies.
And the recipes are great. I'll have to post my favorite sometime.
It was voted the best cookie of 1915 or something like that.
I also bought some greenish/blueish candle stick holders that I had no idea what to do with.
But then I had an idea. Sort of... This is not an original idea, I have seen these all over pinterest.
But here is my take on it.

I saw these "fabulous" creepy mice on Martha Stewarts website.
Actually I saw them at my neighbor Jami's house as I popped in one day while she was hanging them on her walls and she showed me the website. Jami is awesome.
And from that moment on I had to have creepy mice scampering all over my house too!
